_MISSION STATEMENT: "Bringing together with Art."

Once upon a time...a small group of people imagined placing 100 six-foot cartoon sculptures throughout the landscape. Some movers and shakers started knocking on doors, and calling their friends.

Artists and schools, businesses and people are making art happen in Broome County, Binghamton, and the surrounding community."B.C. and Gronk", characters from the beloved Johnny Hart comic strip, are coming to enliven our surroundings.

Up to 100 sculptures of the beloved comic strip caveman B.C. riding astride the lovelorn dinosaur Gronk will be placed around Binghamton. Local artists will use the design as a base, adding their own individual flair to each dinosculpture.

Each fiberglass dinosaur (5ft. tall and 5ft. long) will be mounted on a concrete base and publicly displayed for a season.  A plaque will include the sponsor’s name, artist’s name and the name of the sculpture. 

A Dino auction will be held at the conclusion of the exhibition, and proceeds will benefit local educational and arts groups. 

All dinosculptures will be available for purchase.
